Should I wear a mask?

Transcript

Maybe the most obvious division: The mask debate.

It can get pretty ugly with up front remarks, shaming and even insults. So I'd like to take some perspective on it.

From my angle, one side is scared of the virus - even though they went through similar viruses every winter,

and the other side is scared to lose their freedom, as governments seem to use the virus as an excuse to take excessive measures to "protect us" - like mandatory masking.

Now, I believe that this crisis is bringing us the perfect conditions to help us transition from our current model of society to a new one, based of higher values.

But you know as humans, we pretty much only learn by being slapped in the face, so in order to wake up and deeply reconsider our current system, circumstances need to divide us, isolate us, shake us big time.

For me the wake up call is when I see children suffocating with their masks at school,

when I realize that freedom of speech doesn't exist anymore,

or when I understand the intentions of the powerful people of this world.

I think this kind of situations is the trigger that makes us realize that our whole system - based on control, money and ego - isn't sustainable FOR LIFE ITSELF, and it needs to change now.

So to me the mask debate is just part of the big picture.

It adds confusion and harm, to allow us to stop and think.

Like in France, in March 2020 the government said that masks were useless, and then they made them mandatory a few months later without any scientific evidence.

This type of inconsistency creates cognitive dissonance, stress, confusion, and ultimately obedience when we stop trying to understand.

Hopefully not for too long :)

So, how about we take a step back from the mask debate and see it for what it is: a tool to wake us up.

Please, let me know your thoughts in the comments - but let's be nice to each other ok?
